The co-chairmen of Iran-Turkey Joint Economic Commission, exchanged views in a meeting

In the meeting held on the sidelines of the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s official visit to Iran, Mahmoud Vaezi met his Turkish Co-chair of Joint Economic Commission, Cevdet Yilmaz, Turkish Minister of Development and exchanged views on the further enhancement of economic cooperation between the two sides.


In this meeting, the two sides expressed their satisfaction with the growing trend of bilateral relations in various economic, cultural, and political fields and also agreed on the meeting of Iran-Turkey Joint Economic Cooperation Commission in the Iranian capital, Tehran, prior to President Hassan Rouhani’s upcoming visit to Turkey.
They also hoped to deepen and to enhance fraternity between our two nations as it would pave the way for boosting the existing ties between the two countries.
In a separate meeting with the Turkish Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci, Vaezi also stressed that value of annual trade ties between the two sides should reach 30 billion dollar.
Zaeybekci also invited Vaezi to visit Turkey to pursue the implementation of the agreements reached in the meeting of the two countries’ Joint Economic Commission.
In this meeting , Vaezi , asked the Turkish minister to take due actions in paving the way for boosting ties between the private sectors, as well as in the firleds of ICT , oil, transportation , customs and investment in joint projects in an effort to improve economic cooperation.
