In its role overseeing the global allocation and management of radio-frequency spectrum, ITU-R identifies, manages and monitors radio-frequency spectrum to ensure the effective operation of broadband networks without interference to or from other radio systems.
Through its many activities, ITU-R enables the delivery of equitable, affordable broadband access to the Internet for all people, regardless of where they live.
