Dubai congress is a commencement of put an end to US dominance over Internet

With the efforts made by some countries around the world, the International Global Communication Congress is commencement of put an end to dominance of USA over internet.

P.R of ICT ministry Reported – Engineer Sai’eed Mahdiyoun, the deputy of Iran expeditionary group which have been participating in International Global Communication Congress with saying this, stated that: respecting human rights on telecommunication rules and recognizing member countries rights were the subjects which have been discussed in this congress up to the last hours. According to the proposals presented by USA and western countries, it was settled that the issue of governments’ commitment for respecting human rights must add to the compiling telecommunications rules, he added. Mahdiyoun asserted that: by bringing this proposal up, African countries regional representatives have been requested to add and approve this rule which accordingly the member countries rights for accessing international telecommunication services is recognized as their formal rights. The deputy of the Iran expeditionary group said that the mentioned proposal has been approved by Asia and Oceanic regional Bloc member countries such as Iran and went down by American and western countries. He with pointing to the lobbies and discussions which have been held by the two sides for this article approval alongside this session, continued that: with the negotiations running high, the probability of failure in accomplishment has been improved and accordingly with considering recent rule, Iran representative has presented guideline warning and requested to leave the negotiation and running formal and open poll. Saeed Mahdiyoun said that Iran proposal has been approved by all the people participated in the polling and stated that the polling were so formal and strong that accepted by American and western countries too. This article has been approved by 77 for, 33 against and 6 abstentions and USA representatives have been left the session just after votes count without respecting other ones and said that our country’s goal is not making agreement at any price and not signed this rule accordingly, he emphasized. Mahdiyoun also said that according to the approved rule, all world countries must recognize governments governing rights in international telecommunication as their formal rights and no one is allowed to boycott another country’s international communication. In addition, after this rule being approved by running a poll, reconfirmed again with continuous applause of participants.
