As Public Relations of ICT Ministry reported, Dr. Reza Taghipour with saying this matter in FAVA Industry and Development Specialized Committee stated it is possible to arrange and implement a defined pattern for developing small and average industries via specifying the mentioned plan.
He with pointing the indexes of the Fifth Development Plan, asserted: in this plan, it is emphasized to organize the protection from public governmental, private and cooperative sections of Iran IT industry in a way that the share of this industry reaches 2% from total gross internal production share.
Dr. Reza taghipour talking about the efforts made for FAVA Industry development and added that the investigations made by the scholars of this scope show that with using available resources in the country, developing FAVA Industry in 2 Software and Security scopes are get possible.
He continued: making use of educated manpower that we have enough genious and creative ones, pave the way for evolution in this section.
The minister of Communication and Information Technology emphasized that with compiling a strategic plan and also using our available resources in the country, we can implement the defined goals for this scope.
He said that establishing FAVA Workgroup in the 10th Government and forming the specialized committees makes an opportunity of convergence among different organizations in the specialized scopes.
In this sitting, FAVA Industry and Export officials have presented a report from the developments made in this committee.
This committee has established for implementing the foregone goals such as “turning to a modern country in Communications and Information Technology section based on internal production and services in a way that Iran owns the 1st place in Middle East and has the most share in gross internal production and export”.
Increasing IT industry export up to 1.5% of non petroleum export and its share from Iran total gross internal production shares up to 2% are the other goals defined for this scope.
Establishing specialized committee of FAVA Industry and Development under control of the government FAVA management workgroup and also establishing industrial and civil foundations in the form of syndicates and different private associations are such progresses made up to now.
Accordingly, the specialized committee of FAVA Industry workgroup has established because of IT industry development super sections quality and in order to converge all relevant organizations of this industry based on this committee united and coherent policy making and with the suggestion of Information Technology and Communications Center in Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade and the confirmation of the minister of ICT and under control of Iran FAVA Management Workgroup.
