Iran is ready to expand cooperation on Communication and Information Technology with South Korea.

As ICT ministry’s Public relation reported; Dr. Reza taghipour in a visit with the head of communication commission in South Korea said that the travel of the delegates from South Korea has provided a good opportunity for cooperation between the two sides.
He with telling that today most of IT activities in Telecommunication zone are done by the private section, stated that ICT ministry is responsible for substructure developing and supervision on ICT zone.
He added: now the indicators for communication and information technology are in good condition and we are eager to use other countries’ experiences too.
The minister of Communication and Information Technology with declaring that until now 7 meetings has been held on developing cooperation between Iran and South Korea asserted that Iran has big programs on developing bandwidth and we are hoping that we can have a good cooperation with South Korea on this matter.
According to this report, the head of South Korea’s communication commission also in this ceremony with pointing to big changes on communication and the 3rd generation of communication services, said: now, one third of South Korea’s revenue is come from trading on IT zone activities and for this, we are planning to develop this section more.
He with emphasis on expanding wide band for ICT developing asserted that South Korea has the most users of wide band which means 97% of population, are under this network’s cover.
The head of South Korea’s communication commission said: Iran and South Korea can have a good cooperation on expanding wide band.
He added that South Korea also has a good experience in developing ICT and personnel resources and is ready to allow Iran using these experiences.
