ICT public relation reported; Eng. Ali Hakim Javadi in signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between Information Technology Org. and Standard Org., stated that according to the Fifth Development Plan that approved by the delegates, there is particular regard for IT and it’s security.
He added: according to accomplished studies, in the 5th Development Plan there are more than 47 statements related to IT development and the responsibilities of each department are determined.
According to accomplished forecasting by experts, there must be more than 15000 million dollars investment in ICT zone, He asserted.
The deputy of ICT minister with pointing to this matter that the investments should be accomplished towards great change in E-services section, said that: ICT industry improvement, IT’s knowledge and efficiency increase in social and economical section are the matters must be considered, because the products and operational programs in this section need standardization.
Safe, secured and having relevant standards is needed for execution of E-government and data uploading in this network, ITO’s head asserted.
He declared: Information Technology are ready to pave the way for compiling the necessary standards towards approving by Standard Organization with cooperation of universities, researchers and technological companies in this section.
Ali Hakim Javadi declared that we are hoping that with recent efforts, in early future have more efflorescence in IT industry.
In this ceremony, Eng. Barzegari, the head of Standard and Industrial Research Organization also with pointing to IT plot and our position in IT world and necessity of standards’ compiling, said: ministry of ICT is representative for ICT zone’s standards in international technical organizations.
ICT ministry is the only ministry which has signed the second agreement with ITO for compiling and carry out standards in ICT zone, He added.
Based on this report; at the end of this ceremony, cooperation agreement on scientific, didactic, technical and research between Information Technology Org. and Standard and Industrial Research Organization has been signed.
Providing national standards draft in ICT and the security, recognition and use capability of private sectors and people-based organizations and also cooperation in standards’ accomplishment and supervising in ICT zone, are the other principles of this agreement.
