PR of the Ministry of ICT – Rezvani, Deputy of Monitoring and Implementing the Regulations in CRA said:" designing the system had been raised in IT Committee last year and the implementation process has been started after approving ".
"Accordingly, the project proposal has been provided and the legal procedures for implementing, such as needed agreements of authorities and approving by technical commission has been conducted and given to the qualified and experienced contractors through a tender", he added.
Deputy of Monitoring and Implementing the Regulations in CRA said that 63 percent of the project had been implemented and emphasized: "Therefore, the first, second and third phases have become final and prepare to implement".
He pointed that some steps such as studying the available conditions, comparative studying of other countries, extracting the parameters and submitting at least three regulatory models had been conducted in these phases.
"The third and forth phases contains: choosing the best model and preparing RFP for locating the selected model that has been implementing and we hope to see a great development in monitoring the broadband in the near future", Rezvani continued.
