PR of the Ministry of ICT – Ahmad pourangnia, member of the board in TIC and supervisor of the network protecting and management department said:" Iranian pilgrims can use SIM cards provided by all operators to communicate and there is no difference in call quality between these operators".
"some supporting routes has been predicted in addition of considering the significant number of communications channels in order to provide the welfare of the pilgrims and minimize the probable disruptions, so the pilgrims' connection won't be eliminated within and outside Saudi by any probable disorder ", he added.
He emphasized that all pilgrims can use all of the fixed and mobile operators to communicate without any concerns.
Supervisor of the network protecting and management department said:" local operators either fixed operators or the first and second mobile operators that have roaming contracts with other operators can use this communication".
Member of the board in TIC said that the representatives from the ministry of ICT have settled in Mecca and Medina and emphasized: "If the Iranian pilgrims faced any problem to use Iranian SIM cards can refer to these centers to solve that as soon as possible".
"We ask the Iranian pilgrims who missed their SIM cards report to the relevant authorities in Mecca or Medina immediately to prevent any abuse and issue a new SIM card as soon as possible", he continued.
