According to ICT Ministry’s Public Relation department, in this meeting, Dr. Vaezi referred to the historical relations of the two countries, stating that: “We currently have an agreeable level of economic, social, and political relations.”
Vaezi added that: “Stability and security of Turkey is very important for Iran.”
He referred to the importance of ICT in modern societies, stating that: “Nowadays, ICT has a great influence over the economy of the countries, acting as a stimulator which also activates other sectors economically.”
The Communication Minister underlined the activities of the I.R. of Iran in this sector during recent years, saying that: “Considering the policies of the ‘government of wisdom and hope’ in the field of ICT, there exist plenty of opportunities for cooperation and investment.”
The Chief Executive Officer of Turkcell Company, while expressing gratitude over the perfect organization of Iran Connect Conference, described the activities of Turkcell, referring to the existing relations of the two countries, and stated the readiness of his company to participate in developing of bilateral cooperation with Iranian telecommunication companies.
He concluded by emphasizing on the development of BIP software in Turkey, adding that: “Currently more than 45000 Iranians are using this software, and Turkcell is ready to develop software in Farsi language, while storing their data inside Iran.”
