According to Public Relation department, quoting the Iranian government’s official website, the two countries have formally exchanged six cooperation agreements aimed at continuous deepening and strengthening of bilateral cooperation, in presence of both Presidents.
These agreements include M.O.U’s in the field of standards between Iran National Standard Organization and the Economy Minister of Azerbaijan Republic; and another inter-banking cooperation between Central Banks of Iran and Azerbaijan, signed by both Central Bank Governors.
The implementation document for cooperation in the field of tourism was signed by Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization and its Azeri counterpart, and the declaration of interest protocol between Iranian and Azerbaijani governments in regard to conducting a study on the North-South transportation Corridor was signed by the Iranian Housing and Urban Development Ministry and the Transportation Minister of Azerbaijan Republic.
Additionally, in regard to e-Security cooperation, an agreement was signed between Mahmoud Vaezi, the Iranian ICT Minister and the Azeri Minister of Transportation.
The last cooperation document covered the collaborations of Iran and Azerbaijan in plant protection and quarantine, signed between the Iranian Foreign Minister and the Azeri Minister of Agriculture.
